Holiest Places Where Supplications Get Accepted While Performing Umrah

Without any doubt, the entire city of Makkah is the most spiritual place on Earth for Muslims. As Muslims, we believe that our duas, or prayers, would not be rejected in the holy land. Specific locations in Makkah and Madinah are identified as holiest, where supplications to Allah Almighty are pointedly accepted. These holy places are mostly found in Masjid ul Nabwi. Make supplications to your Creator with concentration, full dedication, and a pure heart. If you’re planning to perform Umrah or Hajj, don’t forget to make dua at the blessed sites listed below.

Inside the Kabah:

No one can refuse the sacredness of the Holy Kabah. The inside of the Holy Kabah is the most sacred part of Haram Shareef. However, according to Saudi law, the gates were closed to the general public. People are not allowed to approach there, but you can make dua or supplications in front of the Holy Kabah. The Holy Kabah gate is opened twice or 3 times a year for cleaning by the King himself.

Mataf:

Mataf is located in Masjid ul Haram, the holy site where pilgrims complete their 7 rounds around the Holy Kabah. Your duas will be accepted at Mataf, so remember to ask Allah for forgiveness, health, wealth, and success in this life and the hereafter.

Multazim:

The Holy Kabah has 4 sides, one of which is known as Multazim and is where pilgrims go to confess their misdeeds and seek forgiveness from the Supreme Forgiver. Allah SWT accepts your duas when you make them at Multazim with a pure heart and truthful intention.

Hateem:

Hateem, according to the Prophet PBUH, is the innermost region of Kabah. According to SAWW, offering two Rakat Salah in Hateem is the same as offering Salah inside the Sacred Kabah. As previously stated, the inside of the Holy Kabah is a spot where duas are accepted. Pilgrims are unable to enter Kabah, but they can easily go to Hateem and offer many supplications as they wish because this is the place where supplications or prayers are accepted.

Rukn-e-Yamani:

The corner of the Holy Kabah directs towards Yaman. At Rukn e Yamani, Allah SWT accepts supplications, especially when pilgrims pass by during their Tawaf.

Maqaam-e-Ibrahim:

Allah commands Muslims in the Holy Quran to pray Salah behind the Maqaam e Ibrahim. After completing Tawaf, it is Sunnah to offer 2 Rakats and ask for Allah’s blessings & bounties.

Safa & Marwah:

Masjid ul Haram now has 2 small hills near the Holy Kabah. Because they belong to Hazrat Ismail (A.S) and his mother Hazrat Bibi Hajra (AS), Safa and Marwah are sanctified hills. If anyone makes supplications there with pure intention, the acceptance of duas is a must in these spiritual places.

ZamZam Well:

The general public can no longer go near the original ZamZam well because the government has closed it. Pipelines go beneath the earth to provide ZamZam water across the Haram. Make dua to Allah Almighty while drinking ZamZam in the holy land and you will get whatever you ask for.

Arafat:

Every year on the 9th of Zilhajj, pilgrims congregate in Arafat’s ground. All the supplications are accepted on this holy land, especially at the location where the Holy Prophet Muhammad stayed.

`Amr bin Shu`aib narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“The best of supplication is the supplication of the Day of `Arafah. And the best of what I and the Prophets before me have said is: None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, and He is powerful over all things. (Lā ilāha illallāh, wahdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa `alā kulli shai’in qadīr).” So, make lots of supplications for your life & the life hereafter on Arafat’s ground.

Mina:

Mina, another holy site, is also a component of Hajj and a significant place for dua during the pilgrimage. Seek Allah’s repentance and make as many duas as you can while in Mina, as it is the site of the acceptance of dua.

A First Glance at Kabah:

Make a dua when you first see Kabah. It is believed that Allah Almighty accepts any dua we make at the first glance of Holy Kabah.

Jamarat:

After the rami of the second pillar (Jamra-e-Wusta), the pilgrim should move a little more and get on the right side without obstructing traffic before making dua. At this spot, the Messenger of Allah PBUH made a lengthy dua, so pilgrims should obey the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet SAWW.

Masjid e Nabwi:

Masjid E Nabwi is a site where Prophet Muhammad PBUH spent ten years of His life and where His Shrine was built after His death. It is also a place where every supplication must accept.
